Acupuncture

imageAcupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used forms of medicine in the world. Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, acupuncture is currently one of the most thoroughly researched, practiced, and respected forms of complementary medicine available anywhere.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians). Acupuncture uses a variety of techniques, including placing very thin sterile needles into specific points on the body, to stimulate and improve your Qi flow. The many benefits of acupuncture include:

  • Pain reduction
  • Stress and tension relief
  • Increased energy levels
  • Stronger digestion
  • Relief from bad habits and addictions
  • Greater sense of overall health and well-being

Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture (EA) involves the attachment of small clips to acupuncture needles, and then providing a gentle & non-painful stimulus, similar to a TENS device.  The stimulation parameters can be altered based upon the specific needs of the individual.

One of the stimulation parameters that can be adjusted in EA is frequency, measured in Hertz, or cycles per second.  We are all energetic beings, and each of our organs/body parts is operating at a certain frequency.  How do I know this? One of the jobs of the intraoperative monitoring company that I also work for is responsible for guiding the surgeon where to place electrodes in the brain (deep brain stimulation (DBS)) to help target a specific area that is leading to tremors in patients with Parkinson's disease.  How do we do this? We measure the frequency of the electrical activity of different areas of the brain.  We can tell the surgeon where he is in the brain by the frequency of the firing.

Using EA can help the body heal on a subatomic particle level, by "tuning in"/adjusting the frequency to the specific area of the body that is ill.  Current travels to the path of least resistance, so if a person is ill and needing electrons for repair, EA will go to that area to help heal the body.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM)

FSM is a form of electrotherapy, without the use of needles, using an FDA approved device simular to a TENS machine.  It can be used to treat pain, certain types of fibromyalgia, and a variety of other medical conditions.

This technique has been used by professional athletes, including Terrell Owens to help recover from ankle surgery in 6 weeks, allowing him to play in the Super Bowl.

Whereas electroacupuncture machines can only apply one frequency at a time, FSM equipment can administer 2 frequencies simultaneously.  One frequency corresponds to the frequency for the target tissue (muscle, nerves, ligaments, tendons, blood vessels, parts of the brain, etc), and the other frequency corresponds to the condition (imflammation, scarring, viruses, mold, parasites, bacteria, etc).  While FSM cannot kill parasites, etc, it can change how the body reacts to certain things, and is a good adjunct to other forms of medicine.

"Having gone to over 1,500 appointments, seen sixty different practitioners and doctors, and tried twenty-five different modalities of treatment, from acupuncture to hydrotherapy, FSM is the most effective, long-lasting and powerful treatment that I have ever used." -- Eimear Smyth - Patient Testimonial from The Resonance Effect. 2017.

"Many of my patients have responded well to acupuncture when nothing else was helping.  However, I have also found that the response to acupuncture does not last as long as we would hope.  The techniques referred to earlier, such as FSM and LENS, appear to reboot the body at a deeper level, and their effects tend to "hold" better." --Neil Nathan, MD from Toxic: Heal Your body from Mold Toxicity, Lyme Disease, Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, and Chronic Environmental Illness. 2018

Photopuncture

The Power of Light and Acupuncture without the use of needles!  Photopuncture uses light at specific acupuncture points to reduce pain, increase circulation, and help with cellular repair.  Different colors can be used for different things.  Red and infrared can increase circulation.  Blue and green are cooling, to help with burning-type pain.  Green light can be effective against migraines.  Amber light can help with digestion.  Sometimes the light only needs to be applied to the surface of the skin for a few seconds to get the desired result.  Longer times result in photobiomodulation (PBM), the use of photons (light) to help regulate the biology of the cells.

Cupping

Cupping has been a part of Chinese Medicine for over 2,500 years. It relieves aches and pains, improves circulation, and also helps with respiratory and digestive issues. I simply place a specialized "cup" onto specific points on your body, and then use suction to draw your skin up into the cups. It doesn't hurt — it simply draws fresh blood to that area of your body, which facilitates the cleansing and strengthening of your Qi (energy). The end result is a greater overall sense of health and well-being.

Gua Sha

Although Gua Sha is an ancient healing technique used by Chinese Medicine practitioners for thousands of years, it is relatively unknown in the West. It is recognized throughout Asia as a highly effective treatment for chronic pain conditions, stress, fatigue, and a host of other ailments.

First, Gua Sha oil is applied to a specific meridian (energy pathway) on your body. I then use a smooth round-edged object (such as a spoon) to apply short brisk strokes to that area. This creates red patches of skin (called "Sha"), detoxifying your blood and restoring the healthy flow if Qi (energy) to the area. There is no pain involved, and the Sha will fade in 2 to 3 days. But the sense of health and vitality you experience from it will last much longer.

Tachyon therapy

A painless treatment without the use of needles to help treat pain and other conditions.  It uses patented technology based upon the works by Nikola Tesla.  To be frank, the technology is sort of mind blowing.  It gets into quantum physics and subatomic particles, but so does electro-acupuncture medicine.  In a nutshell, tachyon tools are like an antenna, just like acupuncture needles are an antenna.  To give an example of this antenna concept, an acupuncturist uses a point on the toe with an acupuncture needle and/or moxa (chinese herb that can be heated up over an acupuncture point) to help turn a breech baby.  In fact, the World Health Organization recognizes acupuncture to be effective at turning breech if applied at the right time during pregnancy.  So one could think of the needle as an antenna, saying, "baby come this way/turn this way."
