TO THE POINT ACUPUNCTURE LLC

Welcome

imageWelcome to my Website!

My love of acupuncture grew out of my own experience receiving it to achieve balance.  I had no idea it could help so many things.  I have even found some relief in my neurological symptoms.

I try to see each person as a whole: body, mind, and spirit.  I also try to incorporate my western medical background into my treatment planning in order to integrate Eastern and Western philosophies.  I have worked in the operating room for the past 23 years as a surgical neurophysiologist, monitoring various procedures that place the brain, spinal cord and nerves at risk.  I believe looking at the person in his/her totality with different lenses will help get to the true root of the problem.

If you notice my company logo above and to the right, it is made of the letters TTPA, standing for "To The Point Acupuncture."  The "T"s are in the shape of an acupuncture needle.  The letters form the shape of a tree, with roots on the bottom, and leaves on the top.  The 3 positions of the letters correspond to Heaven, Man, and Earth.  The 5 leaves symbolize the 5 elements in Chinese medicine (Water, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water).  The Chinese look to nature to explain what goes on in the human body, and make associations with each element.  In western medical terms, it's a way of explaining homeostasis (how the body naturally tries to achieve balance).

Other Information:

I have written and sold an acupuncture clinic manual covering over 200 ailments/chief complaints to former classmates, acupuncture students from different schools, and even former acupuncture teachers.  I'm not saying acupuncture can cure all of these things, but there are things out there that can help.  Sometimes it is about symptom management.  Other things can be eliminated with time.  You don't have to suffer.  Let's work together.  I may try one technique, and see how you respond.  If it doesn't work, there are other techniques out there that we can try.  I may even combine more than one technique in the same treatment.  Some acupuncturists are fixed on one technique.  My book covers several techniques, and I continue to learn more.
